  • Beskrivelse: Totò is the mayor of his hometown; the citizens decide to give him a horse. It's a great day when the mayor, after making an involuntary fall in a puddle of mud, mounts for the first time the horse. But the trouble with the horse is that it once belonged to a regiment: as it hears the trumpets of a squadron passing by, the horse gallops to reach it – any attempt to stop the animal is completely useless. The video is a copy from the film print held by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema and previously restored by the EYE Filmmuseum: 35mm, positive, acetate, 73 m, 4’ at 18 fps, black and white, Dutch intertitles, silent.
